We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Business Development to lead our efforts in expanding our presence and driving revenue growth in the sustainable energy market in Thailand. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sustainable energy or engineering services within the C&I and utility sectors, and a deep understanding of industry trends with a proven track record in team management.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a team of business development Managers and Directors
  • Ensure that on the target achievement of Solar PPA, Cooling and other energy solution.
  • Implement go-to-market plan for the country, including key customer segments to address, the optimal direct vs. channel partner mix, and solutions to be addressed
  • Drive the origination, prioritization and securing of green field, brown field and M&A opportunities in Thailand, targeting Commercial and Industrial Client and utility scale with government sector.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders in ensuring seamless delivery of solutions to customers.
  • Build and maintain effective and constructive relationships with C&I customers and industrial estate developers, government sector and policy maker.
  • Lead contract negotiations with C&I customers, and drive negotiations related to contractual terms ensuring adherence to company’s framework contracts and checklists and settlements of disputes or issues with customers
  • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to improve financial return and support the investment decisions for projects.
  • Secures proper approvals within the internal process including to Thailand Head and Singapore Head of Southeast Asia
  • Drive process improvement and development initiatives
  • Identify and propose any legal risk, findings and recommendations
Profile

What You'll Need:

  • At least 8 years of experience in solar PPA development, cooling, energy solutions or engineering service in C&I and utility sector
  • Minimum 3 years of experience at the level of team leader and strong experience in managing a team in energy sector.
  • Familiar in financial model and contract for PPA or BOOT business model.
  • Successful track record in sale or business development on the portfolio investment above 100M USD in Solar PPA, Cooling or other utility projects.
  • Having a good understanding of the market dynamics (customers, suppliers, competitors, consultants…)
  • Ability to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders at a high senior level
  • Proficiency in English is necessary for liaising with the Singapore headquarters. Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong skill set in Relationship management, Leadership, Management and Strategic planning.
  • Master's degree in engineering or business administration.
