SEA Bioethics Network Professional Growth Fellowship Grants

The Professional Growth Fellowship Grants encourage applicants to propose learning activities that not only contribute to their individual growth but also have the potential to positively impact the broader bioethics community in SEA. Through these Professional Growth Fellowship Grants, the SEA Bioethics Network aspires to cultivate a cohort of professionals well-equipped to address the evolving challenges and opportunities in the field of bioethics.

AsiaGlobal Fellows Program

An interdisciplinary global leadership development initiative for mid-career professionals with a strong interest and track record in public policy. It aims to nurture future leaders and create influencers with a deeper understanding of global issues from Asian perspectives.

The Program is directed and administered by Asia Global Institute (AGI) , a multidisciplinary institute which aims to bring Asian perspectives to global issues.

UNDP Climate Catalysts Programme

Delivered as an online fellowship from April to May 2026, the programme provides structured capacity-building, peer learning, and access to regional networks. It is designed to support innovators working on climate technologies, nature-based solutions, circular-economy approaches, and community-driven initiatives that advance sustainable development outcomes.

ANU Philippines Institute Visiting Fellowships

Visiting Fellows will work with the Institute in order to develop new research collaborations and/or deepen existing partnerships within ANU and/or other academics across Australia. Our fellowship scheme supports academics working on projects that strongly align with the Institute’s overall objectives and priority areas

Taiwan Program Fellowships

Promoting multi-disciplinary research on issues affecting Taiwan's economy and society and US-Taiwan partnerships.
The Taiwan Program at Shorenstein APARC offers a postdoctoral fellowship to junior scholars and a visiting fellowship to mid-career or senior scholars researching and writing on contemporary Taiwan. The fellowships focus on issues related to Taiwan's economy, society, and culture in a new era of global relations and “postindustrial” development.

The Club of Rome Communications Fellowship Programme

The fellowship is a seven-month mentoring programme offering a remote placement with the successful fellow working from their home environment and with one trip to meet members of the Club of Rome team. The fellowship offers a modest stipend towards living costs and includes work-related travel costs.

2026 Sakharov Fellowship programme

The European Parliament's Sakharov Fellowship offers up to 14 human rights defenders selected from non-EU countries the opportunity to follow a two-week intensive training in Brussels and at another location in an EU Member State. The empowering programme for human rights defenders has been organised annually since 2016 further to an initiative taken by the Sakharov Prize Community at the 25th Anniversary Conference of the Sakharov Prize.

CLOSED: The Y Eva Tan Conservation Reporting Fellowship

Building the capacity of young and aspiring environmental journalists to cover biodiversity hotspots

Work is remote and each fellow will receive $500 per month for the duration of the six-month fellowship. Since 2008, the program has provided training and first-hand reporting experience for dozens of budding journalists in more than a dozen countries. Mongabay interns have gone on to establish careers as professional journalists, communications professionals at scientific institutions and conservation NGOs, and at Mongabay itself.

CLOSED: Asia House Fellowship Programme

Now in its fifth year, the research Fellowship is a unique opportunity for candidates who share Asia House’s vision for a strong and dynamic relationship between Asia, the Middle East and Europe. There are two available Fellowship positions for 2026/2027.

The Fellows will each complete a research project over the course of 12 months on an issue driving change across Asia and/or the Middle East. Their research will be published and distributed by Asia House to its wide network of senior business and policy figures and will inform the Asia House programme of engagement with global leaders.

Forum for the Future is seeking two (2) Graduate Fellows to join its Philippines team and contribute to shaping just and regenerative energy transitions. 

This fellowship is designed for graduate-level candidates and early-career professionals who want hands-on experience in real-world sustainability and energy transition projects, working alongside practitioners influencing policy, industry practice, and multi-stakeholder action in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

CLOSED: The National Geographic Society & The Nature Conservancy Freshwater and Community Conservation Externship

Research and explore a freshwater conservation issue and how you community can sustainably resolve it. Expect 10 hours per week, all meetings and events are recorded. Remote externship starts on February 9, 2026 with a $500 stipend for students who successfully complete the program.

Open to young people ages 18 to 25 and to applicants all around the world.

A four-month, full-time residential leadership program hosted by Yale’s International Leadership Center within the Jackson School of Global Affairs, running annually from mid-August to mid-December. The Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program offers mid-career leaders the space to broaden their vision, learn from one another, and develop both personally and professionally.

CLOSED: Southeast Asia Acumen Fellowship

An eight-month hybrid leadership program in which Fellows remain in their jobs while participating in a mix of virtual sessions, in-person immersives, and self-paced learning. Designed for individuals tackling issues of poverty across the region, the program equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and community needed to strengthen their leadership and scale their impact. Through reflective practice, cohort-based learning, and exposure to new frameworks, Fellows deepen their ability to create meaningful, long-term change in Southeast Asia.

CLOSED: Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development Youth Forum 2026

A five-day course held at the Mekong Institute in Khon Kaen, Thailand, that introduces systems thinking in the context of agriculture, climate and food safety. It strengthens participants' capacity to assess climate-related vulnerabilities in agri-food systems, promotes integrated planning (food safety + public health + climate adaptation for food systems transformation.

CLOSED: Biodiversity Partners Program

A six-month leadership journey supporting senior professionals to transform biodiversity ambitions into practical, scalable, and nature-positive solutions. Through bootcamps, online sessions, and peer exchange, participants develop concerete solutions for nature-postive action.

CLOSED: Food Systems Thinking for Safer & Resilient Value Chains

The APFSD Youth Forum 2026 invites young changemakers from across Asia and the Pacific to reimagine the region's path toward the Sustainable Development Goals. The forum is a space to exchange ideas, share local experiences, and bring youth voices into regional UN discussions on health, gender, energy, cities, and climate action.

This 18-month fellowship is designed for individuals leading nascent organizations -- nonprofits, for-profits, or hybrids -- that are in their startup phase (typically within the first two years of operatrion).
