Youth for COP

The third edition of Youth for COP is here! Join an exciting journey designed to help young people explore and understand global climate conversations and negotiations. Through expert-led sessions, interactive learning, and a vibrant community of peers, you’ll gain the knowledge, perspective, and confidence to engage with climate action at a larger scale. Also, receive a certificate and unlock opportunities to explore and engage with COP31 and the global climate space.

Since its inception in 2023, Youth for COP has grown into a dynamic platform for young people to engage with climate action, with a highly successful second edition bringing together participants from across regions. 

Now in its third edition, the program offers you the opportunity to step into the world of real climate action and deepen your understanding of global climate negotiations and policy processes.

Through expert-led sessions, interactive learning, online modules, simulations, and a vibrant network of like-minded youth, you’ll build the skills to communicate your ideas effectively and engage with issues that shape our future—turning your passion into meaningful, real-world impact.

Program Flow

  1. Registration - Register first & then complete the selection from
  2. Knowledge Building - Learn through expert sessions & online modules
  3. Interactive Workshops - Build communication and digital advocacy skills
  4. Activities - Complete short tasks to apply your learning
  5. Certification - Receive a certificate of participation & appreciation

Who can apply for the program?

The program is open to young people aged 18–30 from Global South countries who are interested in learning about global climate negotiations in COP.

Is there any fee to join the program?

No, the program is free of cost for all selected participants.

Do I need prior experience in climate work to apply?

No prior experience is required. The program is designed for both beginners and those with background in climate issues.

How long is the program?

The program typically runs from July to October, with flexible learning through self-paced content and scheduled live sessions.
