We focus on the mission. At Teach for the Philippines (TFP), we deploy our Fellows to their school communities because we believe that our mission of addressing growing educational inequities requires proximity to our stakeholders. Working closely with our students and their families will help neutralize the growing inequality in the Philippines. It will also minimize the risk of underserved students getting even further derailed in their education.

Be part of our mission. To help us achieve our mission, Fellows who are part of the Fellowship Program must:

• Be willing to go and serve where they are needed

• Deliver TFP's functional literacy and life skills programs for students, parents, and other educators using various learning delivery modes

• Engage and train parents and guardians to facilitate learning at home

• Be flexible to the needs of their school depending on changes to the environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Filipino Citizenship
Bachelor’s Degree obtained by June 2025
Competent English and Filipino Skills (Oral and Written)
Leadership and Organizational Experience
Willingness to be deployed in a public school community anywhere in the Philippines for two years
Motivation to understand the workings of the Philippine education system at the classroom and local community levels
Alignment with Teach for the Philippines Core Values

Summer Institute, our pre-service training for Fellow Candidates, can start as early as April 2026. Deployment of Fellows to public school communities can begin as early as June 2026.

Since 2020, we have shifted to a purely virtual admissions process. While it is completely virtual, we remain dedicated to hosting an admissions experience that is accessible and engaging for potential candidates. You will be assisted throughout the process by a member of the Fellowship Recruitment Team, who will guide you through each stage of your application.
