Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Feedstock Trader to originate, negotiate, and execute physical trades of waste-based feedstocks.

This is not a desk-only trading role. You will be expected to build supplier networks from the ground up, verify supply authenticity, negotiate pricing, and ensure consistent volume flow, while upholding the highest standards of integrity and traceability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing & Origination

Identify and onboard suppliers of UCO, POME, and other waste-based feedstocks (restaurants, collectors, mills, aggregators)
Develop and maintain a reliable supply network, both locally and regionally
Conduct site visits to verify supplier credibility and operations

2. Trading & Negotiation

Negotiate purchase terms, pricing structures, and contracts with suppliers
Execute physical trades while optimizing margins
Monitor market pricing trends and competitor activity

3. Supply Chain Execution

Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely collection and delivery
Troubleshoot supply disruptions and ensure continuity of volume
Maintain accurate trade records and documentation

4. Quality & Compliance

Ensure feedstock meets required quality and sustainability standards
Work closely with internal teams on traceability and certification requirements (e.g. ISCC)
Identify and prevent fraudulent or non-compliant supply

5. Relationship Management

Build long-term, trust-based relationships with suppliers and partners
Represent FatHopes in the market with professionalism and integrity
