In line with our increasing business, we are looking for a Civil CAD_LNG Projects to be based in our Thailand office.

Job Description

What You Should Have

We are seeking a Civil draftsman to deliver innovative LNG supply and energy solutions to our clients. As part of an interconnected team, you will provide engineering and consultancy services to the energy sector from project development to front-end engineering design (FEED). As part of the AFRY team, you will be involved in Pre-FEED, FEED, and PMC LNG-to-Power projects in Asia. You should be able to develop the FEED design for different LNG terminals that include onshore and floating and interconnection with power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed civil and structural design drawings and 2/3D models for LNG facilities, including jetty terminals, storage tanks, pipelines, and support structures, including design reports, specifications, and construction drawings
  • Ensure all designs meet project specifications, codes, and standards
  • Collaborate with civil and structural engineers, and other disciplines to gather project requirements and ensure the accuracy of drawings and designs.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure cohesive project development.
  • Utilize design software such as AutoCAD to create detailed and accurate diagrams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills in English



  • High Diploma Graduation.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a drafter.
  • Skills:      
    • Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar tools.
    • Ability to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D models, drawings, and schematics of civil and structural components for LNG projects
    • Comprehensive understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, codes, and standards specific to LNG facilities.
    • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the LNG terminal.


  • Proven track record of experience in civil and structural design within the LNG industry, preferably on front-end engineering design (FEED) projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with civil and structural engineers to ensure accurate representation of design.
  • Competent in the use of software tools for civil and structural drafting and design.
  • Good background in understanding and implementing civil and structural requirements.
