Job Description

What You Should Have

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a solid background in Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for LNG projects, particularly LNG import terminals. The ideal candidate will lead the FEED phase of a major LNG infrastructure project in Thailand, ensuring that all aspects of the project are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader who can effectively coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders at various levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Project Management: Oversee all project activities during the FEED phase, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the defined quality standards.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project schedules, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines. Regularly update the project schedule to reflect progress and address any changes.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, ensuring all project requirements are met. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to streamline workflow and improve project efficiency.
  • Budget Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost efficiency. Provide regular updates on budget status and implement cost-saving measures when needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure that project objectives are aligned with stakeholder expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Continuously monitor project risks and adjust plans as needed to address emerging challenges.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of project output.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive project reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing progress, challenges, and solutions. Ensure that all project records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Provide leadership to the project team, guiding and mentoring team members. Foster a collaborative, positive, and results-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on FEED for LNG projects.
  • Mandatory Expertise: Proven track record of managing FEED projects specifically for LNG import terminals.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, capable of guiding teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at various levels, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
  • Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software tools and systems, as well as engineering design and documentation software commonly used in LNG projects.
