Objectives of the Role
The APAC Rice Program Analyst will support the day-to-day execution and expansion of rice methane reduction projects across Asia-Pacific. This role sits at the center of implementation partners, field teams, and internal leadership to ensure projects are executed with high integrity and scaled efficiently.
Success in this role is measured by growth in total hectares under management, quality of implementation, and verified credits generated.
Core Responsibilities
Project Execution & Scale
· Support implementation partners through the full project lifecycle—from contracting and farmer enrollment, to farmer training, stakeholder engagement, Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) implementation, water-level monitoring, and progress and water-level reporting—through to verification support
· Build and maintain project timelines, deliverables, and partner milestones across multiple concurrent country pipelines
· Track data collection and ensure completeness, consistency, and audit readiness
· Drive year-over-year growth in total hectares enrolled and credits issued
Implementation Partner Development
· Identify, evaluate, and onboard new implementation partners across APAC target countries
· Serve as primary point of contact for regional partners, maintaining strong relationships with both partners and the farmers in their networks
· Support partner growth through structured planning, performance tracking, and field visits
· Help partners navigate national and local regulatory compliance relevant to project implementation
· Hold partners accountable to acreage, data quality, and timeline targets
Verification & Documentation Support
· Support the internal technical team to compile and organize project documentation under leading rice methodologies
· Coordinate logistics for VVB site visits and respond to information requests
· Support buyer due diligence processes and engage with credit buyers and new markets as the program expands
· Serve as a knowledgeable resource on carbon project development, fielding partner questions and explaining technical concepts clearly
· Maintain structured documentation repositories
