Job Description

Akuo is looking for a Corporate Finance Manager (CFM) to support the development of its Renewable Energy Projects (Solar PV, Wind, and Energy Storage) in Indonesia.

The CFM will be responsible for the corporate finance related topic in the company (Accounting, Controlling, and Tax) and will be based in Jakarta. S/he will liaise permanently with Corporate Finance team in HQ (Paris).

Key Responsibilities

With the support 3rd party service provider company (based in Jakarta), CFM duties will include general accounting (including monthly/quarterly closing), corporate and project controlling, cash flow management, and tax compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with contractual and statutory obligations of the companies (with shareholders, banks, accounting standards, tax laws),
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts,
  • Supervise the preparation, review and control of quarterly and annual statutory, regulatory and other reporting/returns for companies, both in local GAAP and IFRS.
  • Manage relations with Auditors, banks, investors and advisory firms (tax and accounting)
  • Review and update business plans/forecast model as appropriate,
  • Identifying and implementing improvements and efficiencies to processes,
  • Advising on strategies to improve Company financial performance and making recommendations on appropriate key financial targets,
  • Working closely with the management team, taking an active role in supporting the strategic development of the business,
  • Ensuring country enforcement of group rules and policies in coordination with Regional Corporate Finance Manager / CFO
  • Being in charge of the follow up of the invoices and commitments approval process for all the local companies,
  • Drafting all the drawdown notices to the credit lines related to each project related to the project in construction.
  • Manage treasury on a day-to-day basis and prepare forecast,
  • Ensure compliance with internal control rules,
  • Report any anomaly and risk to management and Regional Finance Manager/CFO
  • Preparation of budget and plan and budget follow up
  • Supervise the local implementation of the Group ERP
  • Perform/manage audit (annual financial statement audit and specific audit upon request in the region
Profile

Qualifications

The candidate that the company is looking after :

  • At least 8 years professional experience in the same type of position, and exposure in energy/power/infrastructure sector is an advantage
  • Experience in financing and M&A activities is an advantage
  • Degree in accounting. Master degree is an advantage.
  • Is mastering thorough aspect of the job from controlling, accounting/reporting, and tax compliance
  • Is confident in working with multi-disciplinary and international teams.
  • Fluent in English. Speaking French is an advantage
  • Team player, Autonomous, good communication skills and Open-minded profile
  • Should be able to handle a flexible time schedule
