Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?
This role requires very hand-on skills and will benefit from previous experience and skills in the renewable energy sector or investment banking industry.
You must be able to react quickly to change, be able to make good decisions when facing uncertainty and have a keen ability to solve problems as they arise.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, creating financial models, analysing market trends, regulatory environments, and technical aspects to support recommendations.
- Support the Investor Relations function.
- Develop and implement investment strategies to maximize returns and achieve portfolio objectives.
- Build robust financial models to assess project viability, risks, and potential returns.
- Source and originate new M&A investment opportunities in renewable energy, including solar and onshore wind projects.
- Prepare compelling investment decks and presentations to present findings and recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
- Manage deal execution process, including negotiation of terms, structuring transactions, and securing necessary approvals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, government policies, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector.
- Foster relationships with developers, lenders, and other key stakeholders within the renewable energy ecosystem.
- Monitor and manage existing portfolio investments, providing ongoing analysis and performance updates.
