We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Content Manager to lead the development and execution of our content strategy, overseeing both the content calendar and creative direction. Reporting to the Director of Content, Events and Channels, this role will be responsible for delivering exceptional, on-brand content across our owned channels, while also managing production efforts. The Content Manager will work with a team of content specialists and production staff, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and brand identity.

This role contributes to our vision of ending plastic waste leakage into the environment, growing our credibility and influence with stakeholders that matter, specifically governments, civil society organisations and think tanks. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive the content strategy across all owned channels, ensuring it aligns with global objectives and is adapted to priority markets.
  • Develop fully integrated campaign strategies across different disciplines, teams and functions.
  • Lead creative direction for all content initiatives, ensuring innovative storytelling and compelling narratives that resonate with our audiences.
  • Oversee content production, including video, digital, and print, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards of quality and consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Programmes, Strategic Partnerships, and Public Affairs, to surface impactful stories and amplify our expertise.
  • Transform complex thought leadership and technical content into clear, engaging materials that build trust and credibility and enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.
  • Ensure consistency in brand identity across all content, overseeing the production and distribution of brand assets, including video, print, and digital formats.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, overseeing their work on content creation, production, and brand asset development.
  • Continuously explore innovative techniques and emerging content formats to keep our storytelling fresh, impactful, and relevant to our audiences.

  • Ability to drive creative direction and guide content initiatives that capture attention and deliver compelling stories in the B2B space.
  • Strong expertise in content strategy development, with the ability to align creative content with business goals.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end content production processes, including video, digital, and print, while ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to oversee brand consistency across all platforms and materials, ensuring adherence to brand identity and messaging.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams and external agencies, fostering effective partnerships and alignment on content initiatives.
  • Resilient, with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment with evolving needs.
Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in content strategy, creative direction, and production management, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Proven expertise in managing brand identity and ensuring consistency across all content and channels.
  • Track record in developing engaging campaigns and content for B2B or B2G audiences.
  • Experience working with creative agencies to produce high-quality content.
  • International experience is a plus, especially within the creative or sustainability sectors.
