About the role

This is a Finance leadership position responsible for overseeing the Foundation's financial operations, strategic financial planning, and compliance management. The role involves managing accounting operations, financial reporting, donor-funded projects, and leading a finance team to ensure accurate financial management and organizational accountability.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of the Foundation's annual organizational budget and project budgets
  • Monitor budget utilization and provide regular budget variance analysis
  • Prepare financial forecasts and cash flow projections to support organizational planning
  • Provide financial recommendations to Management to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Produce financial reports for Management, the Board, donors, and other stakeholders as required
  • Manage the financial aspects of donor-funded projects in accordance with donor agreements and approved budgets
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian financial regulations, taxation requirements, and applicable accounting standards
  • Lead, supervise, and support Finance staff in carrying out their responsibilities

Profile

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another relevant discipline
  • Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or managerial finance position
  • Professional working proficiency in Bahasa & English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK)
  • Good understanding of Indonesian taxation regulations and statutory financial reporting requirements
  • Experience in budgeting, financial planning, financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in Accurate Accounting Software (Accurate Desktop and/or Accurate Online)
  • High integrity, professionalism, and accountability with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
