➔ Description of the mission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tour Guidance
  • Facilitate tours for Vietnamese visitors on weekdays and open days under the request of the Sanctuary.
  • Hosting educational tours for schools and groups up on request.
  • Conduct tours at the VBRC in English, Vietnamese during open days, and on duties for international and English-speaking visitors.
  • Educational Duties
  • Assist the Education Officer in executing educational activities aimed at raising awareness about animal welfare and conservation in Vinh Phuc area and nearby.
  • Develop and deliver educational materials and presentations for various audiences including students, teachers, visitors, state leaders, and donors.
  • Work in the Pace team to create and enhance educational programs and initiatives within the Vinh Phuc province area.
  • Operational Support
  • Work five days a week, including weekends as requested.
  • Coordinate with VBRC and Tam Dao National Park staff for the smooth operation of visitor programs.
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with educational partners, stakeholders and others as required.
  • Manage and request maintenance or improvement of educational facilities and infrastructure at VBRC.
  • Event Participation
  • Assist in organizing and executing education and communication events at VBRC and other locations as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the organization’s leadership and direct managers.

➔ Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, English, or other relevant fields related to communication, environmental studies, social work, or community engagement.
  • Strong proficiency in English and Vietnamese (speaking, reading, writing, and interpreting); English language certifications are an advantage.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to organise and communicate information clearly and effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, honest, enthusiastic, responsible, and eager to learn.
  • Demonstrated passion for animal welfare and environmental conservation.
  • Ability to work with students, schools, and local communities in an educational or outreach setting is an advantage.
  • Residency in Vinh Phuc and nearby areas is preferred.
