We are looking for: Fundraising Assistant

The Arcanys Early Learning Foundation is looking for a passionate Fundraising Assistant to support the foundation's fundraising efforts.

In this role, you will play a vital part in advancing the foundation's fundraising initiatives and making a meaningful impact in the communities served by the AELFs early education program.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to assisting the Communication and Fundraising officer with:

  • Identifying new funding sources and exploring potential donors, partners, and grant opportunities.
  • Writing grant proposals and ensuring compliance with all grant requirements and deadlines.
  • Preparing progress reports for partners, outlining how donations and grants are being utilized
  • Assisting in the planning and organization of fundraising events, campaigns, and activities.
  • Developing fundraising materials, including brochures, emails, and social media content.
  • Supporting any additional tasks that may arise as part of the foundation's fundraising efforts.
Profile

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A friendly, positive attitude with a passion for building and nurturing relationships with partners.
  • Prior experience in fundraising, partnerships, communications or external relations is essential.
  • Prior experience working in non-profit organizations is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as communications, marketing, business administration, or nonprofit management is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and tools.
  • A strong interest in raising awareness on the benefits of early education is highly valued.
