Role: Energy Infrastructure Projects Manager

This Energy Leader will play a pivotal role in strengthening Arup’s position in the Singapore’s energy market, driving project success, enhancing client relationships, and fostering collaboration across disciplines. They will lead the delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects, ensuring innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices. This role will also contribute to business growth, technical excellence, and cross-disciplinary integration, reinforcing Arup’s reputation as a trusted advisor in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the delivery of energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Act as an integrator across engineering disciplines, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, manage interfaces, and maintain technical coherence.
  • Support team members in technical execution and problem-solving, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements, enhancing project profitability and reducing risks.

Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, utilities, and government agencies.
  • Drive business growth by securing repeat work through tailored, innovative solutions that align with client needs.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic bids, positioning Arup as a leader in renewable energy and energy transition.

Cross-Disciplinary Integration

  • Strengthen collaboration between energy, water, resources, and infrastructure teams to create integrated service offerings.
  • Initiate and lead multi-disciplinary projects, leveraging diverse expertise to deliver holistic solutions.
  • Enhance Singapore’s connection with Arup’s global EWR network, integrating global best practices and innovative approaches.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Mentor and support team members in developing energy-focused skills, fostering career progression.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive team culture that encourages knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
  • Expand Project Management capability within Singapore, creating space for growth and leadership development at G4–G6 levels.

Profile

Skills & Experience Qualifications & Experience

  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or similar area;
  • Specialisation in multi-disciplinary delivery of infrastructure and energy projects, particularly High-voltage subsea-interconnector projects;
  • Chartered Project Management professional with a relevant global institution;
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within a consulting business environment.
