Job Summary

  • Work with the Program Head and the research team in developing the study questionnaire and instruments;
  • Facilitate focus group discussions and deploy survey questionnaire to an extensive sample size from various units of the University;
  • Analyze the collected qualitative and quantitative data using statistical tools, codes, and softwares;
  • Perform the logistical and administrative arrangements for data collection from the different units and campuses of the University, and;
  • Write ethical clearance application, coordination communication, and technical reports on the outcomes of the study.
Profile

Qualifications

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with research experience (e.g., Psychology, Education, Social Sciences)
  • Background and knowledge in sustainable development
  • Quantitative and qualitative research skills: literature review, instrument and questionnaire formulation, focus group discussion facilitation, survey implementation, data analysis, reporting
  • Good oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
  • Sound critical thinking, creative problem solving, troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in Office and G-Suite applications, video teleconferencing platforms, data analysis software, website management (i.e., Wordpress), and digital graphics software (i.e., Canva)
