Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Energy Efficiency Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of energy efficiency and decarbonization. The ideal candidate will assist our engineering team in evaluating energy systems, identifying efficiency improvements, and supporting the development of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Assist in collecting and analyzing energy consumption data from various sources, including building management systems, utility reports, and field measurements.
  • Energy Audits: Support the execution of energy audits to assess energy use and identify opportunities for improvement in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
  • Feasibility study: Contribute to the preparation of detailed study with local partners, including energy savings estimates, recommendations for efficiency improvements, CAPEX and OPEX estimation and technical documentation.
  • Research: Conduct research on current energy efficiency technologies, best practices, and regulatory standards to support project development and recommendations.
  • Methodology Support: Support the development of tools, databases and method statements in order to automatize and improve quality of project documentation process.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met and provide regular updates on progress.
Profile

Qualifications:

  • Education: Pursuing a master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of energy systems, building systems, and energy efficiency principles. Good knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Communication: Good English communication in writing and speaking
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
