The main responsibilities of the Employee and will include, but are not restricted to the following:

Service Delivery to companies:

  • Supervise and support Baan Dek Foundation’s BSI trainer officers in the coordination and implementation of the training and coaching to companies.
  • Prepare training plans
  • Coordinate the writing of company reports (post training report, spot check reports…)
  • Coordinate and communicate with the companies members of the BS Initiative and ensure good relation and commitment of the company staff toward improved social practices.

Networking and collaboration with service providers

  • Identify and develop working relations with public and private service providers such as schools, health centers, and other NGOs to improve the access to services of migrant workers and children living in construction camps.
  • Participate to relevant working group and workshop organized by ministries, UN and NGOs
  • Lead the development of a network of service providers we can put in relation with BSI Members.

Programme Improvement

  • Capture regular feedback and inform the BSI team on the level of satisfaction of the companies, the alignment between training offer and training needs, and contribute to improve our services and messages for successful engagement of companies in the BSI.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of training content following the BSI Framework for Action.
  • Regularly collaborate with the Programme Quality and Research Coordinator. to feed M&E with field information gathered during training and camps visit.
  • Contribute within the Management team to the general strategy of the BSI Initiative

Programme implementation

  • Ensure donor compliance and alignment of the training activities with the projects proposals and work plan.
  • Plan and control the spending of training related budget line.

Update on a regular basis the indicators and communicate relevant information on training delivery to the Engagement officer in charge of Sales Force update.

Programme reporting and monitoring

  • Provide inputs and actively contribute to the development of quality external reports for donors
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team and communication team when requested to contribute to external communication and fundraising activities

HR and public relations:

Under the supervision of the Director of HR and Public Relations:

  • Support for recruitment, preparation of staff contracts, staff training, and conducting staff evaluations as required.
  • Promote a constructive and productive working environment among the staff. Actively support information sharing, transparency, and dialogue among the team and with beneficiaries of all projects.
  • Together with the Management, create and develop the proper training for the Baan Dek Foundation team and beneficiaries according to Baan Dek Foundation’s Child Protection Policy, ethical standards, and best practices.

Strategy and partnerships:

Under the supervision of the Executive Director:

  • Represent Baan Dek Foundation upon request by welcoming and presenting Baan Dek Foundation programs and activities to visiting partners and sponsors, liaising with external stakeholders, and presenting BDF programs and activities when requested.
  • Support in communicating and promoting the Foundation’s activities by developing suitable communication material aligned with the Foundation’s ethics and standards.
  • Support the creation and implementation of data collection tools with all relevant stakeholders to support the development of programs and advocacy within the construction sector / external stakeholders.
Profile

QUALIFICATIONS

Language requirements: Fluency in Thai is mandatory. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Other languages such as Khmer, Tai Yai, and Burmese are considered a plus.

Education/ Experience:

Studies: Graduate qualifications (or a combination of undergraduate and relevant work experience) or a similar background

Working knowledge and skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is required.
  • Strong interest in a human/child rights-based approach and social development is necessary.
  • Very good interpersonal skills, diplomatie and ability to collaborate with the private sector and corporate.
  • Knowledge of SDGs, ESGs, social sustainability, and incentives for private sector engagement would be considered an asset.
  • Having experience with non-profit organizations or in the humanitarian sector would also be considered an asset.

Professional Experience:

  • Over 5 years of experience in service delivery, training, curriculum development and networking.
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills

Other skills and competencies:

  • Leadership experience: Demonstrated ability to manage a team to ensure they meet objectives and KPIs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, including experience working in a cross-cultural and international environment.
