Description of the mission

Role Purpose

The Head of Corporate Services is responsible for building, leading, and optimizing the company’s corporate backbone—covering IT, Administration & Facilities, Marketing & Communications, and selected People/HR Operations—to support the company’s growth across solar development, EPC, and asset operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Services Leadership

  • Lead and integrate IT, Admin & Facilities, Marketing & Communications, and related corporate support functions.
  • Establish policies, SOPs, and service-level standards aligned with a project-based renewable energy business.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and department heads, ensuring corporate services enable execution, not bureaucracy.
  • Manage departmental budgets, cost controls, and vendor performance.

2. Information Technology & Digital Systems

  • Own company-wide IT strategy and digital infrastructure, including:
  • Cloud systems (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace)
  • Project documentation platforms (SharePoint, Dropbox, etc.)
  • Cybersecurity, data protection, and access control
  • Oversee IT vendors/MSPs; ensure uptime, cybersecurity, and cost discipline.
  • Support engineering, project management, and asset-operations systems (e.g., monitoring platforms, CM tools, data rooms).
  • Implement digital workflows for approvals, procurement, document control, and reporting.

3. Administration & Facilities

  • Oversee office administration, facilities, fleet coordination (if any), and general services.
  • Manage procurement of non-project goods and services, including vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost benchmarking.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, office safety, and business permits.
  • Establish lean administrative processes suitable for a fast-moving EPC/developer environment.

4. Marketing & Communications

  • Lead corporate branding, marketing, and communications for:
  • Solar rooftop and ground-mount development
  • EPC and construction management services
  • Asset operations and long-term O&M capabilities
  • Oversee corporate collateral, website content, proposals, pitch decks, and case studies.
  • Support BD and commercial teams with marketing materials for C&I, utility, and institutional clients.
  • Manage PR, social media presence (as relevant), and external communications.

5. People Operations & Corporate Governance (as applicable)

  • Support HR/People Ops (or directly oversee if no HR head), including:
  • HR policies, employee handbook, and compliance
  • Performance management frameworks
  • Recruitment coordination for corporate roles
  • Ensure proper corporate governance, internal controls, and documentation discipline.
  • Coordinate with legal, accounting, and external advisors.

6. Risk, Compliance & Cost Control

  • Identify operational, IT, and corporate risks; implement mitigation controls.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, data-privacy regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Drive cost efficiency across corporate services without compromising execution quality.
