Biji-biji Initiative is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our team in the role of Project Management & Strategic Communications . This role is pivotal in driving our mission forward by effectively communicating our impact and managing key projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, strategic communications, public relations, and ecosystem development, with a passion for social innovation and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Assist in managing projects related to social innovation, sustainability, and ecosystem development, including accelerators, incubators, and other programs.
- Assist in project planning, timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, providing regular reports and recommendations.
- Assist in managing project and communications budgets, track expenses for efficient resource utilization, and provide detailed budget performance reports
Strategic Communications:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to enhance Biji-biji Initiative's brand and visibility.
- Craft compelling content for various platforms, including press releases, articles, website copy, social media, and reports.
- Manage media relations and build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging content that highlights our impact and initiatives.
Social Media Management & Public Relations:
- Develop and execute campaigns to promote Biji-biji Initiative's activities and achievements.
- Manage and grow social media presence, creating and curating engaging content.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize performance.
- Manage and respond to media enquiries.
Sustainability, Social Innovation & Impact:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and passion for sustainability, social innovation, and impact-driven initiatives.
- Integrate principles of social innovation and positive impact into communication strategies and project management activities.
- Contribute to projects focused on addressing social and environmental challenges through innovative solutions.
- Research and stay informed on emerging trends in social innovation, impact measurement, and sustainable development.
- Support initiatives that promote inclusive and equitable outcomes for communities.
- Actively seek opportunities to enhance the social and environmental impact of Biji-biji Initiative's projects and communications.
- Understand and communicate the impact of Biji-biji Initiative’s programs, and create content that highlights success stories and lessons learned.
