Roles and Responsibilities

Officers monitor the use of stoves in the pollution reduction stove project

  • Monitor the use of assigned household low-emission stoves to ensure compliance with the company's standards.
  • Ensure that the project's pollution stove recipients use the stove regularly, use the stove correctly and efficiently, and maintain the stove and the condition of the kitchen used for cooking by visiting and building good relationships with the community.
  • To provide users with an understanding of the benefits of the carbon reduction project, the granting of carbon rights to the project, including consent to collect personal data and other information as requested by the company.
  • Representing Bridge Carbon Thailand Company in providing knowledge to stove users and communities about the carbon project.
  • Collect data on households using low-emission stoves using the DISCO system .
  • Visit communities as needed or upon request.
  • Responsible for collecting accurate and quality data for data analysis.
  • Report challenges, obstacles and problems to the Project Stove Monitoring Coordinator ( SCC) and Project Stove Support Officer (PSO).
  • Repair the pollution-reducing stoves distributed to households in cases where minor damage is found.
  • Address other issues related to the Pollution Reduction Stove Project that may be found in communities receiving the project's stoves, such as stoves being incorrectly registered, stoves being moved out of households or communities, etc.
Profile

Applicant Qualifications

  • Thai nationality
  • Graduated from a professional certificate program or a degree in the fields of social science, community development, forestry, agriculture, environment, social sciences, and other related fields.
  • Have 2 to 3 years of experience in community coordination work or related fields.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and eager to develop with a company that is rapidly advancing in promoting innovation, especially working hard in rural communities to create social and environmental development.
  • Able to work in fast-changing situations, be flexible and solve immediate problems.
  • Have good communication skills, can speak, read, write Thai well, can understand English. If able to understand and communicate in tribal language, will be given special consideration.
  • Have skills in using computer programs such as Microsoft Office and be proficient in using smartphones.
  • Drive vehicles such as cars and motorcycles and have a driving license.
