CAMELEON Association Inc. is a non-stock non-profit organization in the Philippines founded in 1997 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The Association is dedicated to rehabilitating and empowering girls who are survivors of sexual abuse through a strong commitment to holistic healing, community development, and advocacy campaigns against sexual abuse to ensure that there is a safe environment for survivors and other children to thrive.

Our Mission: CAMELEON develops a holistic approach to act on the causes and effects of sexual violence towards children and teenagers.

  • Protecting and supporting victims of sexual violence in the Philippines by accompanying them with their families on the path to resilience.
  • Encouraging our beneficiaries' autonomy and the socio-economic development of families in their communities
  • Training and accompanying beneficiaries and encourage them to get involved as spokespersons and active supporters of CAMELEON
  • Raising awareness among the general public, especially young people in the Philippines and in Europe, in order to promote children's rights and free the voices from sexual violence.
  • Advocating for children's rights, against sexual violence, and online sexual abuse of children to local, national and international institutions and the media.
Profile

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Management). A Master's degree is preferred;

Proven experience in strategic planning, program-operational management and organizational leadership, a plus if in the non-profit sector but not necessary;

5-year experience in a leadership position;

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills at all levels;

Strong financial judgment and experience in budgeting and financial management;

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners. Not afraid to regularly go on field visits in Region VI and travel to Manila and abroad if required;

Visionary thinking and strategic planning capabilities;

Ethical conduct and commitment to transparency and accountability;

Proficiency in English and local languages, preference in Hiligaynon;

Understanding of Filipino culture and sensibilities, strong natural humanistic personal values and people acumen;

Passion for the organization's mission and a deep understanding of the issues addressed.
