Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Reporting

  1. Own the full accounting and reporting cycle for the entity — ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  2. Oversee month-end and year-end close, audit preparation, and financial due diligence (FDD).
  3. Ensure compliance with PSAK standards and Indonesian tax regulations.
  4. Present financial performance and insights to founders, board members, and investors.

Budgeting, Planning & Risk

  1. Lead annual budgeting and oversight for the entity, including long-horizon project financial planning.
  2. Own financial risk management — identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  3. Establish financial standards and benchmarking, keeping the entity aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
  4. Manage cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements as the entity scales.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  1. Manage investor and landowner relations for the entity — a critical relationship given the nature of land-based carbon projects.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, consultants, and banks.
  3. Coordinate closely with the group Holding finance team on intercompany matters and group reporting.

Systems, Controls & Culture

  1. Develop, document, and maintain finance & accounting SOPs for the entity.
  2. Design and implement internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets.
  3. Drive process improvement — identify inefficiencies and standardize workflows
  4. Build a strong financial culture.

Profile

Qualifications

  1. 7+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including a leadership or managerial role required.
  2. Strong command of Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK), tax regulations, and audit processes required.
  3. Proven experience owning full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for an entity required.
  4. Experience with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial risk management required.
  5. Demonstrated ability to build finance functions, SOPs, and internal controls from the ground up required.
  6. Strong stakeholder management skills.
  7. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  8. Professional certification (CPA, CA, Brevet A/B/C, or equivalent) is a plus.
  9. Experience in project-based industries (infrastructure, plantation, natural resources, or environmental projects) is a plus.
  10. Exposure to group or holding company structures and intercompany transactions is a plus.
  11. Familiarity with carbon markets, ESG, or sustainability-linked finance is a plus.
