➔ Description of the mission

JOB OBJECTIVE

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Coordinator are responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring an effective Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system to ensure that program activities are carried out as planned, achieve the desired outcomes, and generate ongoing learning for future program improvement

Primary Responsibilities

1. Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Develop and manage logical frameworks (logframes), M&E work plans, and determine and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for the project.
  • Conduct regular field monitoring activities to collect data on program implementation and outcomes.
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of program effectiveness and interventions.
  • Establish and manage M&E databases, ensuring that collected data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

2. Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports based on high-quality data in two languages (Indonesian and English).
  • Provide data-driven information for strategic decision-making.
  • Document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.

3. Learning and Capacity Development

  • Design and facilitate learning programs to enhance the capacity of the internal project team.
  • Build and promote a culture of continuous learning across the project team.

4. Coordination and Collaboration

  • Coordinate with program, finance, and field partner teams to synchronize data and reporting.
  • Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders in participatory monitoring processes.

➔ Profile

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) in the agriculture, environmental, or social sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of data collection and analysis platforms and systems.
  • Excellent analytical reporting skills.
  • Strong understanding of result-based management approaches.
  • Experience working with indigenous communities, conservation-based programs, or sustainable development initiatives.
  • Experience with gender and social inclusion approaches in M&E systems.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Must be proficient in using Ms. Office, Google Looker Studio, Ona ODK, KoboToolbox, and other supporting applications.
  • Willing to be based at the Site - Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan.
