
About the role
Catalyst for Change Vietnam (C4C) is looking for a Communication Coordinator to strengthen how we tell our stories, share our impact, support recruitment, and communicate our programmes across different audiences.
This is a multifunctional role in a small, growing women-led social enterprise. The Communication Manager will work across team coordination, content development, storytelling, campaign communication, website updates, partner materials, and basic communication tracking.
Key responsibilities
1. Team coordination and communication Coordination
- Coordinate and support communication team members, volunteers, interns, and collaborators from different countries.
- Provide clear briefs, timelines, feedback, and follow-up to help local and international team members contribute content effectively.
- Organize communication tasks, deadlines, shared folders, content calendars, and internal updates.
- Work with programme teams to collect information, photos, videos, stories, and updates from activities.
2. Content planning and development
- Develop and manage C4C’s monthly content calendar.
- Write and edit content for Facebook, LinkedIn, website, newsletters, recruitment pages, event updates, and partner communication.
- Turn programme activities into clear posts, stories, captions, updates, and campaign materials.
- Maintain a consistent C4C tone of voice: respectful, warm, dignity-centered, and impact-driven.
3. Storytelling and documentation
- Document stories of change from C4C women, youth, volunteers, partners, and programme participants.
- Conduct or support interviews, reflection notes, testimonials, photo captions, and short written stories.
- Ensure all stories and images are collected and used ethically, with attention to consent, dignity, and cultural sensitivity.
- Avoid pity-based, exploitative, or stigmatizing language when communicating about women, youth, and communities.
4. Campaign communication
- Support communication campaigns for recruitment, responsible tourism, youth engagement, events, and partnerships.
- Develop campaign messages, posting schedules, outreach messages, and visual briefs.
- Coordinate campaign materials across social media, website, newsletters, and partner channels.
- Help C4C communicate programme launches, job openings, volunteer opportunities, workshops, and community events clearly and consistently.
5. Visual and digital content coordination
- Create or coordinate simple visuals using Canva or similar tools.
- Support short-form video planning, captions, subtitles, reels, and basic visual storytelling when needed.
- Organize photo, video, caption, consent, and story materials into a simple communication archive.
- Work with photographers, volunteers, youth, designers, or team members to collect and prepare visual materials.
6. Website, partner materials, and reporting
- Support updates to C4C website pages, programme descriptions, service listings, recruitment pages, and partner-facing materials.
- Draft or edit short reports, newsletters, event summaries, partner updates, and simple communication briefs.
- Track basic communication outputs, audience engagement, inquiries, and campaign performance.
- Share simple monthly communication updates with C4C leadership, including what worked, what needs improvement, and next priorities.
