Description of the mission

About the role

Catalyst for Change Vietnam (C4C) is looking for a Program Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of C4C’s community-based programmes in Đà Nẵng and Hội An.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Đà Nẵng. The Program Coordinator will work closely with C4C leadership, local women, youth volunteers, international participants, trainers, partners, and programme teams to make sure activities are well-organized, respectful, safe, and meaningful for everyone involved.

This is a multifunctional role in a small, growing women-led social enterprise. The person hired will support programme operations, participant coordination, volunteer support, logistics, communication with partners, documentation, and basic reporting.

Key responsibilities

1. Programme coordination and daily operations

  • Support the planning and implementation of C4C programmes, workshops, events, community activities, and learning experiences.
  • Coordinate schedules, venues, materials, attendance, participant information, and team responsibilities.
  • Help ensure activities are delivered on time, with clear preparation, smooth logistics, and proper follow-up.
  • Work across C4C initiatives such as HerSpace, HerKitchen, HerCraft, Teach for Change, Nature Arts Studio, responsible tourism, and youth engagement programmes.

2. Participant, volunteer, and team coordination

  • Coordinate with local women, youth volunteers, international volunteers, interns, trainers, facilitators, and programme partners.
  • Provide clear instructions, reminders, schedules, and support to participants and team members.
  • Help international participants and local team members understand programme expectations, cultural context, and activity flow.
  • Support a respectful and welcoming environment for people from different countries, backgrounds, ages, and communication styles.

3. Logistics and event support

  • Prepare materials, spaces, equipment, refreshments, transportation arrangements, participant lists, and activity checklists when needed.
  • Support on-site coordination during workshops, community events, visiting group programmes, training sessions, and responsible tourism activities.
  • Anticipate practical needs and help solve problems quickly and calmly during programme delivery.
  • Coordinate local travel between C4C programme sites, partner locations, and activity venues in Đà Nẵng and Hội An.

4. Partner and community communication

  • Support communication with schools, universities, community partners, tourism partners, trainers, local service providers, and international programme partners.
  • Help prepare simple programme briefs, schedules, participant updates, and follow-up messages.
  • Collect partner feedback and share relevant updates with C4C leadership.
  • Represent C4C professionally and respectfully in daily coordination with partners and community members.

5. Documentation, monitoring, and reporting

  • Track attendance, participant feedback, activity outputs, volunteer involvement, and basic programme results.
  • Support photo/video collection, consent tracking, activity summaries, and stories of change in coordination with the communication team.
  • Maintain organized folders, documents, contact lists, schedules, and programme records.
  • Support simple reports, reflections, and updates for internal learning, partners, and funders.

6. Safeguarding, care, and cultural sensitivity

  • Help ensure activities are delivered in a safe, respectful, and dignity-centered way.
  • Communicate with women, youth, volunteers, and community members without using pity-based, stigmatizing, or insensitive language.
  • Support appropriate boundaries, consent, confidentiality, and respectful cross-cultural interaction.
  • Raise concerns early when there are issues related to safety, wellbeing, communication, or participant experience.
