About the role
City Energy is seeking a commercially driven and analytical professional to support the Company's corporate strategy, growth and transformation agenda. Working closely with senior management and business units, the role provides exposure to strategic planning, business development, investment evaluation, energy transition initiatives and cross-functional projects that support the Company's long-term growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of corporate strategies, business plans and growth initiatives.
- Coordinate Corporate Planning Sessions (CPS), Board Strategy Workshops and strategic planning activities.
- Evaluate strategic projects, investments and business opportunities, including commercial assessments, business cases and financial modelling.
- Support M&A, strategic partnerships, investment opportunities and business development initiatives.
- Support hydrogen, decarbonisation, sustainability and energy transition projects, including market analysis, feasibility studies and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor industry developments, emerging technologies and regulatory trends across the energy, gas and utilities sectors.
- Track strategic initiatives, prepare management and Board papers, and support performance monitoring and strategic reviews.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and engage stakeholders across the organisation.
