CSV is looking for a Philippine-based candidate to join our growing team as an Associate. You will support our work developing insights and executing solutions focused on leading the energy transition via real world applications. This will also require you to develop and manage work plans as we help prepare you for the next stages of your career.

Core tasks include the following:

  • Manage a broad set of projects ranging from administrative tasks, origination or new business initiatives and existing transactions
  • Effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders (including clients, other consultants, key industry players, and regulatory bodies)
  • Prepare research and write-ups including papers, concept notes, and presentations
  • Review of existing laws and regulations, industry and economic trends, and other data required to complete reports
  • Conduct of due diligence and preparation/ review of financial models, valuation and analysis
  • Preparation of proposals, pitch decks, regular market/ legal/ regulatory updates, grant reports/ presentations and other donor/ stakeholder facing materials
  • Preparation and maintenance of full financial models with financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, statement of cashflows) and financial analysis
  • Facilitating discussions with various stakeholders and clients whether via an engagement, transaction, or regular updates
Profile

About you:

  • Based in the Philippines
  • Fresh graduates or those shifting industries are welcome to apply
  • Preferably with at least 3 years experience in a consulting/ corporate finance environment (or other relevant professional services industry)
  • Must be able to draft and maintain full financial models
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to think and work independently, taking the initiative and ‘ownership’ of tasks, having strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to use MS Excel for complex problem solving and analysis
  • Experience in using MS PowerPoint and Word for communication and report writing
