Role Description

The Legal Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Vietnam, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role oversees legal affairs related to C&I renewable projects, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, project agreements, and corporate documents. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on legal risk, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, supporting project financing and transaction structures, and coordinating with external counsel when needed. The Legal Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in project development, finance, and operations to ensure legal alignment across business activities. The role also involves monitoring regulatory changes, maintaining accurate legal records, and contributing to internal policies and governance frameworks.

Profile

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Law, with experience applying legal principles to commercial and renewable energy projects.
Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and corporate documents.
Experience in Legal Consulting, providing clear, practical advice to cross-functional teams and senior management.
Demonstrated capability in Legal Compliance, including regulatory analysis and implementation of internal compliance procedures.
Background in managing Legal Affairs for project-based or infrastructure-focused organizations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law; admission to practice in Vietnam or a relevant jurisdiction is an advantage.
Knowledge of energy, infrastructure, or renewable sector regulations in Vietnam and Southeast Asia is preferred.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience managing multiple matters and deadlines.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Vietnamese and/or other regional languages is beneficial.
