JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an energetic and passionate individual to join Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) as a Consultant, Applied Philanthropy & Impact Team. CFS is the only philanthropic foundation in Singapore that funds charity programmes across all causes. This provides opportunities to learn and create impact across diverse needs in Singapore. Grant making in CFS is evolving towards becoming a catalyst for systemic change with a greater emphasis on sustainability and impact. There will be ample development opportunities to learn new skills and bring about meaningful and game changing improvements for grant making in the non-profit sector. We are looking for talents who can support CFS to work with charities and donors to bring about large and game changing impact in the non-profit sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Principal Consultants with charity engagements, programme curation, impact monitoring and evaluation
  • Foster close partnerships with charities towards providing impactful funding opportunities to donors
  • Conduct Charity assessments as part of the Know-Your-Grantee (KYG) process to ensure funded charities are robust and
  • Manage funded programmes to ensure funds are utilised appropriately
  • Monitor and evaluated funded programme impact reports
  • Arrange charity engagement events and visits to charities for donors to learn about community needs and funding opportunities
  • Generate content to support donor engagement work such as programme proposals for donors, and reports on current gaps, trends and insights in each cause

This is a one-year contract, and the successful incumbent will be hired on a Contract for Service until 31 March 2026. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Profile

COMPETENCIES

  • Basic degree in Accountancy or Social Sciences preferred. Additional certifications in impact measurement would be a plus
  • Ideally at least 1-3 years of direct experience working in managing grants and/or programmes in non-profit sector or public service sector
  • Core competencies in programme development, programme evaluation, and grant management; additional competencies in data analytics, financial statement analysis will be a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong proactive attitude.
