Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?

The Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2008 to encourage and enable philanthropy in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking an energetic, independent and resourceful individual in providing excellent philanthropy advisory service to donors and prospects.
Manage a portfolio of donors, cultivating and sustaining active relationships that encourage and inform their charitable giving, including encouraging strategic large gifts.
Engage and guide a broad range of donor types from self-directed, to donors who have yet to take advantage of CFS’s advisory services, as well as those open to exploring complex charitable programmes.
Work closely with corporate and individual donors to develop strategic philanthropic strategies.
Provide excellent service; advise donors in articulating, planning and achieving their giving goals.
Provide strategic philanthropy advisory to donors by recommending impactful programme solutions to guide their giving to be more deliberate and informed.
Proactively provide information and respond to donors’ philanthropy priorities. Collaborate across teams to facilitate fund administration and donations.
Connect donors to meaningful funding opportunities by collaborating with internal stakeholders on philanthropy recommendations and grantmaking.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Grants teams to showcase donors and their giving.
Engage donors through donor learning trips, donor luncheons, charity visits and other opportunities.
Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Competencies:
A Diploma or Degree from an accredited tertiary institution, or comparable qualifications.
Relevant experience of at least 3 years in finance, administrative and other client support roles will be a plus.
Meticulous with an eye for detail.
Comfortable working with digital platforms and databases, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to manage varied and conflicting demands to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to show initiative, work independently and work collaboratively across teams to accomplish joint tasks and common objectives.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to adapt.
Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is preferred.
