Position Overview:
The Research Scientist role is responsible for leading and driving the company's renewable energy project development in the international market, ensuring the smooth implementation of projects and achieving expected business and environmental benefits. This role requires coordinating multiple teams, collaborating with international partners, and handling all aspects of the project, from initial planning to final execution and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify, evaluate, and develop renewable energy technologies and systems based on company business and operation, such as solar and hydrogen energy etc.
- To perform modeling and simulation to analyze and optimize renewable energy systems, including performance prediction, resource assessment, and system integration. For example, large-scale solar PV and/or Hydrogen, BESS systems for renewable energy applications.
- Design, collaborate, and execute experiments to test renewable energy concepts, materials, and systems, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Prepare technical reports, papers, and presentations summarizing research findings, methodologies, and conclusions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and carry out consultations with local authorities/agencies. Stay current with regulatory requirements and standards related to renewable energy technologies and ensure compliance in research activities.
- Explore collaboration opportunities with other research organizations in accordance with the company's technical direction. Collaborate with project stakeholders to achieve research objectives and project milestones.
- Support in project proposals. cost estimates, execution, and commissioning activities.
- Follow up with advancements in renewable energy technologies, trends, and best practices through literature review, conferences, and networking.
