➔ Description of the mission

The Business Development role is responsible for creating new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s customer base in B2B and B2G markets. This position focuses on early-stage business development — identifying prospects, establishing relationships, and shaping opportunities before handing them over to the sales team for deal closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the energy sector (B2B & B2G), including corporate clients, industrial users, and government agencies.
  • Build and expand the ecosystem of strategic partners (technology providers, EPC contractors, financiers, consultants, etc.) to support project development and market entry.
  • Conduct market mapping, opportunity assessment, and lead generation to create a qualified pipeline of new customers.
  • Initiate first contact, build strong business relationships, and position the company as a trusted energy solution partner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Technical, Marketing) to shape customer value propositions and solutions.
  • Qualify opportunities and handover well-defined leads to the Sales team for further development and deal closing.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, government policies, and emerging technologies to identify new market segments and growth areas.
  • Represent the company at business networking events, industry exhibitions, and conferences to enhance market visibility.

➔ Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, Energy, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of working experience in business development / strategic partnership roles, preferably in energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, or related industries.
  • Strong network and proven track record in dealing with B2B or B2G clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker, with a strong sense of ownership in driving new opportunities.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Familiarity with energy sector regulations and policies is a plus.
