Reporting to the Program Director, the Senior Project Officer (SPO) will be responsible for field-based aspects of the MECIHO-A and SHARE projects. S/he will ensure the overall project implementation as planned, build network with project stakeholder in village, regency as well as provincial level; representing Corus in the project location with relevant networks, peer organizations, local communities and the host government; identify and coordinate possible approaches for project sustainability
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to project staffs related to implementation of the projects in accordance with project design to ensure objectives are met within the required time frames and budgets
- Work with field staffs in developing work plans (including ToR), implementation schedules, and reporting timelines in conjunction with Program Director
- Ensure that project activities are implemented based on plan, report any delay and recommend any possible approaches to make the project provide better impact to community
- Monitor budget spending at activities/outputs level and notify any action needed to respond to budget spending
- Ensure the project report and all their monitoring meet required standard
- Take initiative and provide recommendations for project approaches based on updated information or situation in community
- Initiate and strengthen relationships with host government authorities, peer organizations and private sector actors in the regency
- Identify and develop relationships with people, organizations and institutions that can enrich projects through participating in relevant networks, forums and other coordination and learning spaces
- Represent Corus International to authorities, peers, and other key strategic audiences in Karo regency
