The Social Business Manager, will be responsible for leading the development of Dana Asia’s social business activity, following the strategy established by the Director of Social Business. The role will facilitate the implementation of new social businesses working with community partners to establish viable enterprises, train the implementing team in essential business skills, advise on better business performance and carefully monitor operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of social business projects, based on strategic plans and facilitate all stages of the social business development process, incubation, scaling, and sustainability.
- Design and implement appropriate capacity building, business skills upgrade and mentoring of the community partners in aspects of entrepreneurship, business operation and financial reporting.
- Assess potential new social business projects on behalf of Dana Asia and ensure best practice monitoring of existing projects over time.
