JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance and Administrative officer will be in charge of taking care of the administrative and accounting aspects of the water programs.
SPECIFIC TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Accounting Management
ü Collects and verify monthly reports of the Branches;
ü Management of the Head Office’s Petty Cash Fund;
ü Records payment to suppliers, cash advances and liquidation of Head Office employees
ü Monitors the cash advances managed by the Branch’ Finance Officers
B. Financial and administrative Management
Support the Finance and Administrative Manager in the following tasks:
ü Maintenance of the financial records and systems.
ü Forecast and monitors cash flow requirements;
ü Ensure compliance with the financial policies of the organization as well as the financial requirements;
ü Monitors statutory personnel remittances, payrolls as well as the remittances of taxes to tax authority;
ü Ensure that the internal control system of the organization is working properly;
ü Recommend for updates of company policies and procedures which are deemed necessary;
ü Assists in the preparation of Annual Budget
ü Checks the timeliness and accuracy of the collections in the branches
