Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and target major corporate clients (e.g., Fortune 500 companies) for renewable energy solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including landowners, land agents, and government entities.
- Negotiate and secure long-term contracts that align with the company's growth strategy.
- Stay informed on market trends, government policies, and emerging opportunities in the renewable energy space.
Project Development:
- Pursue both greenfield and brownfield renewable energy projects.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project development and execution.
- Present business proposals and reports to senior management and external clients.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead and mentor a business development team.
- Manage ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and report on business development activities, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
