Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Programmes and Communications Intern to join EB Impact's outreach and engagement efforts. This role involves cultivating relationships with stakeholders, managing external communications, and supporting programme coordination to amplify EB Impact's programmes and initiatives. This role will be a full time commitment for at least 3 months with options for extension.

Communication and Outreach

  • Collaborates closely with Manager (Partnerships and Communications) to create communication strategies, enhance EB Impact's visibility, and build awareness of our programmes and mission across target audiences.
  • Craft clear and compelling narratives for EB Impact’s initiatives, including web content, newsletters, press releases, and social media updates.

Programme Management and Partnership Coordination

  • Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of all EB Impact programmes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Manager (Programmes and Community) to manage programme timelines, logistics, content development, and delivery, ensuring that programme objectives are met and programme quality is upheld.

Content Development and Digital Media

  • Generate engaging content, including case studies, impact stories, and campaign materials, to showcase the impact of our programmes and partnerships.
  • Work closely with external media and content creators to ensure high-quality sustainability coverage and visibility.
  • Manage EB Impact’s social media channels and website, monitoring metrics and optimising content strategies based on performance insights.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/ Undergraduate student/ Graduate from any related field
  • Passion for sustainability and social impact
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and translating complex information into accessible content.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms and digital content creation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Shortlisted candidates might be asked to take a writing and/or video test.
