Main Responsibilities

- Examining the impact of environmental factors (climate change, pollution) on crop health.
- Assessing the development of pest and disease resistance to control measures.
2. Design and Execute Targeted Research Experiments: Develop and implement rigorous research projects to:
- Test new crop protection products (pesticides, biocontrol agents).
- Evaluate innovative pest and disease management strategies (integrated pest management, precision agriculture).
- Investigate the mechanisms of pest and disease resistance.
- Assess the environmental impact of crop protection practices.
3. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with various stakeholders to:
- Develop and implement effective crop protection solutions for farmers.
- Provide technical advice and training to farmers and extension agents.
- Engage with policymakers to inform science-based regulations and policies.
4. Disseminate research findings: Share research results through various channels:
- Publish research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Present findings at scientific conferences and industry workshops.
- Prepare technical reports and extension materials for farmers and stakeholders.
- Communicate research outcomes to the general public through media and outreach activities.
5. Maintain Scientific Expertise: Stay current with the latest advancements in crop protection research by:
