Content Development and Documentation
• Develop stories, updates, and reports that highlight the organization’s impact.
• Document project activities through photos and videos.
• Assist in the development of Audio-Visual Media such as the project’s documentary, videos, etc.
• Manage the organization’s social media platforms and website.
• Lead in the monitoring of media metrics and media engagements.
Communication and Branding
• Support in the development of knowledge products, background documents, publications,
promotional materials, and project briefs.
• Oversee the publication of printed/online knowledge products (manuals, toolkits, research
papers), ensuring copyright registration and ISBN/ISSN acquisition in collaboration with the
Program Unit.
• Ensure compliance of communication materials and content to Communications Guide,
Communications Plan, and Social Media Guidelines.
• Supervise and contribute to communication and visibility activities.
• Ensure proper storage and cataloging of all media and communication assets for easy retrieval
and future use

Event Support and Community Engagement
• Participate in community activities and events, ensuring authentic representation of community
voices in media outputs.
• Attend EAI representation in multiple events/exhibits/conferences to ensure maximum general
audience visibility.
• Support in the conduct of capacity-building sessions for community members or staff on basic
media skills, such as photography or storytelling.
• Support capacity building of local media partners, youth leaders, and other key stakeholders in
strategic communications, media, content production, and storytelling.
Additional Responsibilities
• Support the Program Manager and Country Director to plan and carry out promotional activities
for the EAI PH aimed at enhancing program quality and securing additional funding for ongoing
or future projects.
• Organize, contribute and participate in EAI program and global level activities, such as working
groups, annual planning workshops, etc.
• Build effective working relationship with EAI PH colleagues
• Perform other tasks requested by the Program Manager, Country Director and EAI HQ.
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of communication, development communication, marketing, public
relations, social sciences or any other related field.
• Have at least 2 years of significant and proven experience in communication and advocacy,
preferably with an international NGO.
• Proven experience in communication and content development.
• Experience in videography, photography, and/or graphic design is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of visual design and software such as Photoshop and/or Canva.
• Technical knowledge of media equipment operation and maintenance.
• Experience in community work, with a commitment to amplifying grassroots voices through
media.
• Outstanding written and oral communications skills
• Superior organizational skills: ability to multi-task, apply results oriented problem-solving
approaches, and collaborate effectively as a team member
• Strong work ethic, impeccable integrity and sense of accountability
• Skilled in setting priorities, anticipating work requirements, and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity to effectively interact with all levels of staff,
US and foreign government personnel, members of donor organizations, funders, etc.
• Fluency in Tagalog, Cebuano, and English is essential; Working knowledge of Maranao, Tausug,
Sama, Yakan, Maguindanaon or any indigenous dialect is desired
