🌾About the Role

We’re looking for 2 Irrigation Management Specialist to support the planning, implementation, and management of irrigation systems that help farming communities improve productivity, strengthen water resource management, and build resilience.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and monitor irrigation systems and field operations.
Work closely with farmers, cooperatives, LGUs, and other stakeholders on irrigation-related activities.
Conduct field assessments to identify irrigation needs, issues, and improvement opportunities.
Support farmer training on proper irrigation practices, water management, and system maintenance.
Monitor water resources, irrigation performance, and project progress.
Collect and analyze field data to measure irrigation efficiency and project outcomes.
Identify implementation gaps and recommend practical solutions to improve irrigation management.
Support initiatives that promote sustainable water use and climate-resilient farming communities.

Profile

At least 3+ years of relevant experience in irrigation management, agriculture, water resource management, or related field operations.
Proven experience in irrigation systems, field project implementation, and agricultural project management.
Strong understanding of irrigation practices, water resource management, and agricultural production systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with farmers, cooperatives, LGUs, and other field partners.
Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage field activities and recommend practical solutions.
Proficient in data gathering, monitoring, and reporting, with the ability to work independently and conduct regular field visits.
