Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?

Founded in 1922 by 15 human rights groups, FIDH now unites 188 national organizations from 116 countries and territories to collaborate on strategies and activities to promote universal human rights standards. FIDH is looking for an intern who will participate in the implementation of the organization’s activities in Thailand. The internship will be based in Bangkok, with the possibility of remote working. The intern will be under the supervision of the Southeast Asia Program Officer.
This is an excellent opportunity for young individuals who want to gain valuable hands-on experience in the human rights field and develop their research and advocacy skills.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic individual with a passion for human rights and a commitment to promoting the values of FIDH.
He/she is a native Thai speaker with a good command of written and spoken English, good computers skills, and the ability to gather, analyze, and present information in a timely and well-organized manner.
During the internship the successful candidate will participate in the following activities:
· Monitor Thai language media, including social media.
· Produce short summaries of relevant information.
· Conduct basic research on human rights issues related to Thailand and its regional neighbors.
· Translate relevant documents from Thai to English and vice-versa.
· Attend meetings and conferences and document proceedings.
· Liaise with Thai authorities and civil society organizations.
· Travel occasionally within Thailand for field data collection.
· Provide general administrative support.
INTERNSHIP CONDITIONS
Duration: Six months (renewable).
Start date: October 1, 2025.
· Allowance: 12,500 THB per month.
· Hours: 24 hours per week (three days a week).
· Leave: Three days, in addition to all Thai public holidays.
· Transportation: Reimbursement of public transport expenses to attend meetings and conferences.
