About The Role

We’re looking for a Product Design Intern to support our Technology team in creating intuitive, user-centred digital experiences across internal tools and customer-facing products. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers, gaining hands-on exposure to the full product design lifecycle.

This internship is ideal for someone who’s passionate about UX/UI, excited by problem-solving, and eager to learn in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.

What You'll Do

Support the design team in user research, discovery, and ideation activities
Assist in creating wireframes, user flows, UI designs, and interactive prototypes
Help translate user needs and business requirements into thoughtful design solutions
Participate in usability testing and help synthesize insights
Contribute to maintaining and evolving Flo’s design system
Prepare design assets and documentation for handoff to engineering
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and observe how design decisions are made in real product environments

Profile

You will be a good candidate if you have/can

Are currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Product Design, UX/UI, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field
Have a basic understanding of user-centred design principles
Are comfortable using Figma (or similar design tools)
Have strong attention to detail and visual sensibility
Communicate clearly and are open to feedback
Are curious, proactive, and eager to learn

Nice to have

Exposure to user research or usability testing
Familiarity with design systems
Basic understanding of front-end constraints
Interest in technology, energy, or sustainability
