The Credit Analyst / Project Officer develops and implements strategies on the delivery of financial and capacity building services to social enterprises and/or SMEs particularly solar energy enterprises and SMEs adopting solar energy.

Duties and Responsibilities

A. Marketing and project development

  1. Generate leads for business loan applications from solar energy enterprises and SMEs adopting solar energy.
  2. Assist SE/SME in complying with financing application requirements.

B. Project Development

  1. Determine feasibility of proposed projects to be financed.
  2. Gather additional information to address gaps or concerns that may arise.
  3. Prepare project appraisal reports that present the proponent’s profile, business objectives, business and financial assumptions, financial analysis, and credit worthiness of proponent.

C. Capacity building service

  1. Conduct capacity needs assessment of partner SE/SME.
  2. Assist in capacity building activities for SE/SME.

D. Relationship Management

  1. Establish good working relationships with partner SE/SME.
  2. Ensure complete documentation and compliance to financing contracts.

E. Project monitoring and evaluation

  1. Monitor performance of assigned accounts.
  2. Prepare monitoring updates of assigned accounts.

F. Risk management

  1. Monitor credit performance of assigned accounts
  2. Identify concerns and submit recommendations for remedial measure/s as needed.
  3. Implement remedial measures on assigned accounts.

G. Document and information management

  1. Compile relevant project documents, photos, other references and information gathered from assigned accounts.

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Economics, Business Management, Marketing, Social Sciences, Environment, Communication

Experience: At least three (3) years’ work experience in related field
