Responsibilities

Provide estimation on CAPEX & OPEX for ground mounted/rooftop/floating/BIPV car park structure solar photovoltaic system (Grid connected/Off Grid/ Hybrid) for commercial and industrial sectors, large scale solar system and any renewable energy projects, i.e hydropower;
Coordination with engineering team for CAPEX estimation, O&M team for OPEX estimation and business development for both CAPEX & OPEX estimation;
Provide list of assumptions to commercial team for the estimated CAPEX & OPEX;
Update business development & commercial team on CAPEX & OPEX for standardized design periodically;
Work closely with engineering team on solar products update and acquire new/existing vendors for better technology update/engineering solutions;
Obtain price update from Procurement team for all materials involved in solar photovoltaic system on periodic basis and update;
Provide detail cost breakdown to Heads of Project Delivery/Engineering/Operations;
Perform cost analysis and recommendation on CAPEX and OPEX;
Perform actual CAPEX & OPEX analysis with Project Team and update initial CAPEX & OPEX estimation for higher accuracy estimation;
Support all internal / external reporting to different stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor/Master Degree in Quantity Surveyor;
Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy industry as quantity surveyor/estimator;
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment;
Strong skills in MS office especially in MS Excel;
Motivated team player with strong leadership abilities with problem-solving capabilities;
Good communication skills to work with all stakeholders;
Willingness to travel extensively to project sites whenever required.
