The Opportunity

We provide a unique opportunity for you to own and handle key projects and initiatives for our Product Development team, and to be part of shaping the future direction and success of our products and company.

As a Product Management Intern, you will be working closely with our Technical Lead and will be instrumental in defining product features for our internal tools and a consumer-facing mobile application. You will also be a part of a small but collaborative community in ENGIE Factory, passionate about using technology and innovation to solve climate change.

We don’t see our interns any differently from one of us. If you’re up for it, lead teams, craft strategies or drive new initiatives – the sky’s the limit.

Your Role

  • Collaborate with the Tech Lead and cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing to develop and launch new products and features.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product improvement.
  • Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the product management team in prioritising feature development and backlog grooming.
  • Help analyse product performance metrics and user feedback to make data-driven decisions.
  • Contribute to the product design process by providing input on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design considerations.
  • Assist in coordinating system and user testing and feedback sessions to gather insights for product iteration.

What You’ll Gain From the Internship

  • Hands-On Experience - you will have the opportunity to work directly on real-world projects and initiatives, gaining practical experience in product management, market research, and product design within a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Professional Development - you will work closely with experienced professionals and mentors in the field, receiving guidance and feedback to help you develop your skills and grow as a product management professional.
  • Strategic Insight - you will gain valuable insight into the product development process, learning how to analyze market trends, gather user feedback, and make data-driven decisions to drive product strategy and innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales and marketing, gaining exposure to different perspectives and learning how to effectively communicate and work with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
  • Learn how to build a business from zero-to-one - be part of a fast-growing organisation with ambitious plans to expand into multiple more markets and verticals, and help be the one to make it happen.
  • Create your own path - autonomy and freedom to define the vision of the role and be the one responsible to make it happen.
  • Gain insights into the regional renewables market and digital technologies.
