
The Opportunity
- Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) are a form of environmental attribute – similar to carbon credits – that allow businesses to claim the use of renewable energy without installing solar themselves. GetSolar helps solar system owners to monetise their solar generation by selling RECs to earn extra money from their solar system.
- In this role, you’ll help drive the growth of our Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) business line. You’ll manage our customer pipeline across sales and operations, drive commercial adoption, and help scale our presence across Singapore and Malaysia. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact in the renewable energy sector and to help position GetSolar as a leader in the REC market.
Your Role
- Manage and update the customer pipeline and CRM systems across Singapore and Malaysia
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries via WhatsApp, email, or calls – explain what RECs are and how they work in simple terms, with the goal of converting leads into signed customers
- Guide new customers through asset registration processes, and manage quarterly submissions of solar generation data for REC issuance
- Acquire and manage commercial customer accounts in Singapore and Malaysia, building long-term relationships with REC buyers and partners
- Develop go-to-market strategies for RECs – including sourcing buyers, setting pricing structures, and refining positioning
- Work with the marketing team to boost visibility and awareness of our REC offering across multiple channels
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline internal workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Support the expansion and localisation of our REC business line in Malaysia and new Southeast Asian markets
