Girl Guides Singapore - Marketing & Communication Senior Executive / Executive

Girl Guides Singapore (GGS) is looking for a creative Marketing & Communications Executiveto join our team. In this role, you’ll grow our online presence, engage our community, and strengthen our brand identity. You’ll also contribute to impactful initiatives that empower girls and young women, working closely with partners, volunteers, and the wider Guiding community.
What You’ll Do
● Social Media and Digital Engagement – Manage and grow GGS’s presence through strategic content and creative campaigns that drive engagement and strengthen community connection
● Content Creation & Design – Develop visually engaging graphics, videos and stories that bring GGS’ mission to life, ensuring a cohesive and inspiring brand identity
● Photography & Videography – Capture and curate authentic, high-quality visuals from events and activities that highlight the energy and impact of Guiding
● Copywriting & Storytelling– Craft compelling, on-brand narratives - from social posts to feature articles - that inspire the GGS brand voice
● Campaigns and Fundraising Marketing – Lead marketing and communications for Girl Guides program and fundraising initiatives, driving awareness, participation and community support
● Events & Partnerships – Plan and execute communications for major events and collaborations, ensuring consistent branding and strong audience engagement
● Media & Public Relations – Manage media outreach and public relations efforts to enhance GGS’ visibility and reputation across channels
● Strategic, Planning & Insights – Oversee the content calendar, monitor performance analytics, and provide insights to guide future marketing strategies
What We’re Looking For
● At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in marketing.
● Strong skills in social media management, digital marketing and content creation
● Proficient in design tools (e.g. Canva or equivalent) with a strong eye for visuals, branding, and creating engaging content across different platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.)
● Experience in copywriting, storytelling, photography, and videography, including capturing and editing event highlights
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to connect with diverse audiences and stakeholders
● Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive – comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
● A hands-on analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and improve communications performance
● Bonus: Experience in marketing for fundraising or sales campaigns (e.g. cookie sales)
● Knowledge of the Guiding movement or experience in a volunteer-based or membership organisation is an advantage
