Description of the mission

Walk alongside charities as they grow their impact across Asia.

Charities have big missions — but often limited time, manpower, and resources. As a Sidekick, you’ll help them turn ideas into action and make their journey with Give.Asia feel easier, warmer, and more supported.

You’ll work closely with charities of different causes and sizes across Asia, building trusted relationships, following their progress, and reaching out when you see a meaningful way to help — so they feel supported by someone who understands their needs and helps move things forward.

Along the way, you’ll gain broad exposure to how charities operate, the challenges they face, and how they grow their impact. You’ll also be trained in specialised areas such as campaigns, events, volunteering, and donor engagement, so you can provide more focused support as you grow.

This role is for someone who enjoys helping people, building relationships, and seeing real progress happen. More than answering questions, you’ll be part of a Sidekick team that helps charities feel supported, take action, and bring more kindness to the communities they serve.

No prior charity or fundraising experience is required — what matters most is that you care about making a difference and are eager to learn and grow in the social sector.

What You’ll Do

Help Charities Get Started – Guide newly onboarded charities through account setup, onboarding, and first steps on Give.Asia.
Be the Relationship Owner for Charity Partners – Build warm, trusted relationships with charities in your portfolio and be the person charities can turn to for guidance.
Follow Charity Progress and Offer Timely Support – Check in on charity progress and reach out when you see a useful way to support their campaigns, events, fundraising, donor engagement, or volunteer needs.
Connect Charities to the Right Give.Asia Resources – Understand the tools, teams, and support available at Give.Asia, and help charities maximise the right resources for their needs.
Develop Specialised Expertise – Build expertise in a Sidekick specialisation and support charities with more focused guidance in that area.
Support Daily Operations When Needed – Help respond to charity, fundraiser and donors questions and support requests clearly and kindly.

What We’re Looking For

Values-Driven & Kind – You care about helping others, supporting meaningful work, and being part of a team that brings more kindness into the world.
Genuinely Interested in Charities – You are curious about each charity’s mission, work, challenges, and people, and enjoy building relationships that help you understand how to support them better.
Approachable Communicator – You communicate clearly and warmly, helping people feel comfortable reaching out and sharing their needs.
Organised & Responsible – You can manage multiple requests, follow up consistently, and take ownership of getting things done.
Curious & Ready to Learn – You do not need prior charity, fundraising, or account management experience. We will provide training on the job. What matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn, and care for the charities we support.
Team Player – You enjoy working with others, sharing learnings, and connecting charities to teammates who can help.
Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese Speaking Required – You should be comfortable speaking either language with charity partners from Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore. Additional languages are a plus.

Job Location: Work remotely

Salary Range: 600-1000 SGD
