Duties:

The contractor is expected to provide communications and coordination support to fulfill, broadly, the following deliverables and other related work:

Communication Planning and Strategy Development

  • Work with team members to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns.

Social Media Management

  • Lead GGTC's social media efforts, ensuring a robust digital media presence.
  • Engage with the community to build a vibrant, interactive audience through social media and monthly newsletters.
  • Produce social media content in various forms and Ensure cohesive messaging across all social media channels.

Media Relations and Outreach

  • Establish relationships and expand media connections.
  • Explore opportunities to engage new media outlets to promote GGTC events and materials.

Creating Communications Content

  • Contribute to the production of major reports, briefing papers, and collateral materials for major events or campaigns.
  • Contribute to the management of website contents.
Profile

Education:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, business, or a related field from a reputable university.

Desirable:

  • Other relevant qualifications or postgraduate training in the aforesaid areas.
  • Master’s degree in the aforesaid areas or its equivalent.
